Thanks to the guarantee issued by SACE SIMEST and Intesa Sanpaolo, the Italian company was awarded by the Malaysian company Petronas an important contract of 308 million USD for the construction of an oil plant in southern Iraq.

The plant will be built in partnership with China Petroleum Engineering & Construction Corporation, an engineering and contracting company of the Chinese government's oil company.

The engineering and contracting company PEG, was awarded by the Malaysian company Petronas a contract of 308 million USD for the construction of an oil plant in southern Iraq. This was announced by a note by Sace Simest, the CDP Group's Pole of Exports and Internationalization which, together with Intesa Sanpaolo, issued the guarantees. The Roman company will build a crude oil treatment plant in the oil field of Garraf, near Nasiriya, currently managed by Petronas. “We are very proud of this deal because it was finalized in partnership with a global player such as China Petroleum Engineering & Construction Corporation - stated Paolo Trocca, PEG Chairman. “We believe this is the result obtained by the bet made in 2012 to ensure a strategic physical presence in the region thanks to the Dubai subsidiary and the Iraq branch".

October 2018 - New  Project Award

EPCC Project of Dehydration Plant and Dry Gas Pipeline at Garraf - Iraq

PEG, in consortium with SCOP, State Company for Oil  Projects (Iraq), has been awarded by PETRONAS Carigali Iraq Holding B.V. (PCIHBV) the contract for provision of Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning (EPCC) of Gas Dehidration Plant and Dry Gas Pipeline at Garraf - Iraq. The value of the contract is 167,27 Million USD. The completion date is expected for May 2021.

July 2018 -  New Project Award

EPC for Two Crude Oil Trains and a 24" Pipeline of 42,6 Km - Nasiriya - Iraq

PEG, in consortium with SCOP, an Engineering Contractor that belongs to the Ministry of Oil of Iraq, has been awarded by Thiqar Oil Company (TOC) for the supply of two Crude Oil Trains, each 50.000 BPD, and a pipeline 24” of 42,6 Km, in the area of Nassiriya. The value of the contract is 295 Million USD. 

 

July 2018 - New Project Award

Project of Pumping Units for Luhais Deagassing Station (EPC) - Iraq

PEG has been awarded the Engineering, Procurement and Construction contract of the Pumping Units for the Degassing Station at Luhais, Iraq, by Basra Oil Company (BOC). The value of the contract is 11.5 Million Euro.

May 2018 - New Project Award  

EPC for Three Crude Oil Trains at Garraf Field

PEG, in consortium with CPECC, a company affiliated to China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), has been awarded by PETRONAS Carigali Iraq Holding B.V. (PCIHBV), the Engineering, Procurement and Construction contract for three Crude Oil Trains, each 50.000 BPD, at Garraf Central Processing facilities, Iraq. The value of the contract is 308 Million USD. PEG scope includes all process trains; balance of plant including utilities and water intake is by the consortium partner. The completion date is expected for April 2021.

Dehydration and Desalting unit for Nassiryia Degassing Station - Iraq

PEG has been awarded by TOC-Thiqar Oil Company the Engineering and Procurement project  for  Dehidration and Desalting unit of Nassiryia Degassing Station in Iraq. The value of the contract is 12 Million Euro.
